I am quite surprised how solid this thing is once it is all screwed together. There are little gaskets near all of the threads to keep water out. I dig a pretty decent hole with it just to try it out. The knife attachment is decent. The whistle works so-so. Definitely helpful in an emergency. I wish it packed up a little smaller and was lighter, but this is my first multi-utility-shovel so maybe they are all like this. All in all, very satisfied.

The market for tactical, camping, and survival tools is crowded for budget shoppers, but that’s where a lot of us find ourselves. It can be difficult to understand the strengths and benefits of a particular listing compared to other similar items at this price point, so I wanted to provide some details on what I think this item does well. Compared to other tactical shovels, at first glace, I thought the core components in the IIMO multi function tool would be more functional. And that turned out to be true.The core components – the front driving edge, the sharper side edge, and the side saw edge – are definitely capable of getting the job done and look like they will hold up well. The same for the knife component. It’s thicker and sturdier than a lot of other competitors out there. And while no knife in a multi tool such as this will replace a solid outdoors knife, this is a much better back up than can be found in a lot of multi tools. The emergency glass breaking tip component is reasonably safe and practical in a tool of this size compared to smaller tactical tools on the market. And the other non core components – emergency whistle and screwdriver bits – function fine. Note that one item which doesn’t show up in the included instruction sheet for some reason but is a part of this multi tool is a small ferricerium rod attached to the emergency glass breaker/whistle component. There is no striker included but the back edge of the knife component can work reasonably well. As an extra bonus, the hollow handles are perfectly cable of holding a number of other emergency supplies of your choosing from cordage to matches to fire tinder.The lighter weight of this tactical shovel might not seem to be a positive at first. Some other tactical shovels look more rugged. But the reduced weight of this model can be a real benefit and allow the shovel to be carried in a pack with less of a concern of over burdening the user with extra weight that they will not need if hiking any real distance.This item may not have quite as many features or bells and whistles as some competitors, but I really feel that the core components of this multi function folding shovel make it a solid and practical choice for budget shoppers.

I really am pleased with this purchase as it is very sturdy, durable and the relative thickness of the shovel head in comparison to regular shovel heads is superb. As seen in the video, really easy and fast to setup and overall, has a ton of great features. I personally used for a campfire this past weekend and used the Shovel, Knife, Cap Opener and even the Saw feature all in 1 hour.Do know, while most things screw on like regular, the shovel head lock is the opposite way to tighten.

I bought this set to replace my old set in my SUV. I usually looking for functional and price point for this item. Package arrived ok condition; due to they put the product color box inside the envelop pouch so expected little smash for the box. When I first impression for the product, it was not too impressive, the box little bend and design is not too attractive. But once I open it up and put it together and use it become different story. The material used very good stainless steel and assembling designs are very convenience and useful tools. I put it on the field and try to beat up little bit, the results are great, no scratch sign on the stainless steels shovel, cutting and chopping are very clean as well. Overall, great products, if they can improve their packaging design that will be excellent.

Now this is a handy shovel! It feels sturdy in the hand with some weight that you could put into the swing but definitely not too heavy. Great design with many tools that you can utilize at your disposal. I didn’t take a picture of it but if you flip the spade of the shovel down, it’ll double as a hoe!
